I’m Sarah. I studied at Canterbury Christ Church University and have worked with children and young people for the last 10 years. I have worked in all areas of the curriculum from EYFS to GCSE. I specialise in working with children and young people with special educational needs and who suffer with low self-confidence. I really enjoy working one-to-one with children and will actively follow their interests to allow learning to be meaningful to them. My ethos is to teach the child holistically and ensure that you do not just boost academia, but emotional resilience as well. My current day time position is running an alternative curriculum provision for young people who have disengaged with education, so I am well versed at building relationships which, in my opinion, set the foundation for learning.
